Preview of Stand-up pencil case
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Carry pens in a case that turns into a pen cup
A round pencil case with a deep slip-over lid. In the bag it's a closed tube; on the desk, take the lid off, stand it on the lid and it becomes a pencil cup. Grippy ribs round the outside.

Preview of Roman wax-tablet notepad
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Write and erase notes on a wax tablet with a stylus, as Roman scribes did
Two thousand years before sticky notes, Romans wrote shopping lists and school sums on wax tablets: scratch letters into the wax with a pointed stylus, then smooth them away with the flat end and start again. Pour coloured beeswax into the tray, keep the stylus in its groove, and slip the lid on to protect it. Warm the wax with a hairdryer to wipe the whole page clean. Endlessly reusable, and oddly satisfying to write on.

Preview of Status-cube pen pot
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Turn a pen pot on its turntable to tell colleagues if you are free
Headphones on does not always mean do not disturb. This pen pot turns on its own turntable base, and each side says something different: FOCUS in red, OPEN in green, BREAK in gold and CALL in blue. Give it a spin so the right word faces the office, and colleagues know whether to come over or send a message instead. It holds your pens either way.

Preview of Stylus and nib garage
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Keep tablet styluses and spare nibs together
A lidded case for digital artists: three padded-length slots for the stylus, a backup and a pencil, and a small side box for the replacement nibs that otherwise vanish from their tiny pots.

Preview of Glue Bridge
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Keep PVA glue and wipe the brush
A PVA pot for bookbinding and paper crafts: the bar across the top is for wiping excess glue off the brush, so it goes on thin and even, and the snug lid keeps the glue workable between sessions. Fill to just below the bar.

Preview of Kaidan Chest
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Store desk things in a stepped drawer chest
A desk-size kaidan dansu, the Japanese staircase chest: a three-drawer tower with ring pulls steps down to a 70 mm open tray beside it. Small things go in the drawers, the tray takes the keys and phone, and the stepped silhouette looks like furniture, not plastic.

Preview of Lodestone Drawer
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Add a drawer module to a magnetic cube layout
A 60 mm cube with a knob drawer and magnets on its sides and back, so a drawer can sit anywhere in a Lodestone layout: under a cup, beside a tray or as a tower of three. Holds SD cards, earbuds tips or staples.

Preview of Green Roof
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Store desk things under a moss garden roof
A two-drawer desk chest with a living roof. The roof is a shallow tray for preserved moss or a sedum mat in a liner, overhanging the chest like the eaves of a turf-roofed cabin, while the drawers below take cables, cards and stationery.

Preview of Rolled-drawing corner weights
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Hold rolled drawings flat on the desk
Fill each triangle with 100 g of coins or steel shot, glue the lid and set one on each corner of a rolled drawing, map or poster: the right angle sits snugly on the corner and the sheet stays flat for reading or tracing.

Preview of Laptop one-push port block
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Dock a laptop with one push
Push the plugs through the wall at your laptop's port spacing (two USB-C and HDMI here), fix them with hot glue and close the lid: docking at the desk becomes one push of the block instead of three fiddly plugs.
