What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have -- no legalese we can avoid.
We collect the minimum needed to run the Service:

We use your information to operate and improve the Service: authenticating you, generating and storing your models, powering the community showcase, responding to support requests, processing payments, and understanding aggregate usage so we know what to build next. We don't use your data to train third-party AI models, and we don't sell your personal information.
We share data only where it's necessary to run the Service: with infrastructure and payment providers who process data on our behalf under contract, when you choose to share or feature a project publicly, or when required by law (for example, responding to a valid legal request). We don't share your data with advertisers.
SO3D.xyz uses a small number of first-party cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. Our page-view tracking is first-party and privacy-respecting -- it counts visits without fingerprinting you or sharing data with ad networks. We don't use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We keep your account and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a project or your account, it's removed from our live systems promptly, though residual copies may persist briefly in backups before they're cycled out.
Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Data is encrypted in transit. We apply the same manifold-validation rigor to security as we do to geometry: access to production systems is limited, and we review changes before they ship. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data as something we're trusted with, not something we own.
You can view, edit, or delete your saved projects at any time from your dashboard. You can export your data, request a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account entirely by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA -- reach out and we'll help.
SO3D.xyz isn't directed at children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the "last updated" date above, and for significant changes we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you directly.
