The rules for using SO3D.xyz, written in plain language wherever we could manage it.
By creating an account, generating a model, or otherwise using SO3D.xyz (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you're using the Service on behalf of an organization, you're agreeing on its behalf and confirming you have the authority to do so. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to create an account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access -- contact us and we'll help you lock things down.
Use SO3D.xyz to design and export models for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.
You retain ownership of the models, parameters, and STL files you create with SO3D.xyz. We don't claim any rights to your designs. If you choose to feature a project in the community showcase, you're granting other users a license to view and remix that specific shared project -- nothing more, and you can unshare it at any time from your dashboard.
You're responsible for making sure you have the right to design and print whatever you create with the Service.
Some plans are billed on a recurring basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your account settings; changes take effect at the start of the next billing cycle unless stated otherwise, and we don't offer partial-period refunds except where required by law.
We aim to keep SO3D.xyz available and fast, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, change features, or modify rate limits with reasonable notice where practical.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination -- ownership, liability, and disputes -- will continue to apply.
The Service is provided "as is." While we validate every export for manifold geometry, we can't guarantee a specific model will be fit for your particular structural, mechanical, or safety-critical use -- you're responsible for verifying that a part meets your requirements before relying on it, especially for load-bearing or safety applications. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SO3D.xyz isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-app notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
