Preview of Octopus cable tidy
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Lay eight charging cables in the arms of an octopus
A desk cable tidy shaped like an octopus. Each of its eight curling arms is a channel that holds the end of one charging cable, and the body holds whatever is plugged in. The arms point in every direction, so cables leave the desk wherever they need to.

Preview of Tumbling-block hex caddy
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Split a hexagon into three rhombus bays that read as a cube
A desk caddy built on an optical illusion. Three dividers from the centre split a hexagon into three rhombus bays, and from above they read as a cube seen corner-on, like an old tumbling-block quilt. It is a useful three-way organiser that looks three-dimensional when it is flat.

Preview of Sausage-dog pen tray
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Keep a row of pens in a dachshund
A long pen tray shaped like a dachshund in profile. Its long body is just right for a row of pens and pencils, the head well holds an eraser and clips, and the short legs are little pockets for pen caps.

Preview of Feather quill pen tray
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Rest a favourite pen in a feather
A pen tray shaped like a quill feather, with the split vanes and hollow shaft of the real thing. A fountain pen or a pair of pencils lies along the feather, a nod to the quill pens they replaced.

By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Show whether you can be interrupted
A square pen cup with one word on each face: FOCUS, CALL, BREAK and OPEN. Turn it so the right word faces the room and colleagues or family can see at a glance whether to interrupt, with no light, app or door sign. The pens stay exactly where they always were.

Preview of Cordflag
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Label cables right behind the plug
Snap the small ring onto a cable just behind the plug and the flag says what it powers: LAPTOP, ROUTER, LAMP. Under a desk or behind the TV you unplug the right lead first time. The 5 mm ring takes most USB and mains flex and rotates so the flag always faces you.

Preview of Deckle Rule
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Tear paper with a handmade deckle edge
Hold the rule down on a sheet and tear the paper up against its rippled edge: you get the soft, irregular deckle of handmade paper on invitations, place cards, menus and journal pages, with no deckle box and no wet tearing. The other edge is a plain straight edge for normal tears.

Preview of Puck Easel
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Turn a flat wireless charger into a stand
Drop a round wireless charging pad into the slot at the back and its face lines up with the 56 mm window: lean your phone against the front and it charges standing up, where you can still read the screen, instead of lying flat. The cable leaves through the back and the front lip stops the phone sliding.

Preview of Stepover
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Cover a cable crossing the floor
A floor cable cover: lay it over a lead that has to cross a hallway or the gap from desk to wall, and the 12 x 9 mm channel underneath hides it while the shallow ramps stop feet, chair wheels and vacuum heads catching. Print as many 200 mm lengths as the run needs and butt them end to end.
