Deckle Rule

Tear paper with a handmade deckle edge

Hold the rule down on a sheet and tear the paper up against its rippled edge: you get the soft, irregular deckle of handmade paper on invitations, place cards, menus and journal pages, with no deckle box and no wet tearing. The other edge is a plain straight edge for normal tears.
