MAIN PURPOSE: Diffuse an LED puck through a paper-lined lattice
A paper lantern for a battery LED puck, after the Japanese andon. Line the inside with washi or baking paper, stand a puck on the floor and the grid of square windows on every side glows like a shoji screen; there is no flame, so it is safe on a bedside or in a child room.

MAIN PURPOSE: Display a kokedama moss ball and catch its drips
A pedestal for a Japanese moss ball. The ball sits on six low ribs in the dish, so its base stays out of the drip water and air reaches underneath, while the tall pedestal shows it off like a sculpture.

Preview of Stijl Panel
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Compose a grid artwork with swappable inserts
A De Stijl grid you finish yourself. Thick black-style bars divide the panel into nine unequal cells: fill a few with coloured card, paint or fabric offcuts and leave the rest blank, then hang it on its keyhole as a modern wall piece that changes whenever the inserts do.

Preview of Ivy Lattice
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Train indoor climbing plants up a wall
A trellis tile for indoor climbers. The diamond lattice stands 8 mm off the wall on round feet, so pothos, ivy and hoya stems can weave through and behind it; screw tiles side by side to train a plant across a whole wall.

Preview of Dovetail Cells
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Build a wall gallery of interlocking niches
Shallow wall niches that lock together with dovetails. Each cell has two tabs and two sockets, so cells slide into each other from the front and grow into any shape of gallery for tiny treasures, air plants or figures; each hangs on its own keyhole and the joints keep the grid aligned.

Preview of Sunray Frame
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Frame a round mirror as an Art Deco sunburst
An Art Deco sunburst frame for a round mirror. Glue a 150 mm craft mirror on the centre field and the 24 rays, long and short in turn, spread out round it; the keyhole sits behind the mirror so the screw never shows.

Preview of Swap Corners
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Display and swap records, prints and paintings
Corner keepers for framing without a frame. Screw four to the wall on their tabs and slide an LP sleeve, art print on board or a child painting under the lips of the two top and two bottom corners: it is held flat by the corners only, and swaps in seconds.

Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Lift a back row on a shelf with storage below
A shelf riser with a four-arch arcade. Stand it at the back of a shelf to lift a second row of objects on its deck, and slide coasters, remotes or a notebook into the open-backed arcade underneath, so one shelf shows twice as much without looking cluttered.

Preview of Easel Rib
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Lean plates and art prints in grooves
A grooved strip for leaning plates, art prints and photo boards on a shelf or mantel. Two grooves of different widths hold the bottom edge, so a picture can stand upright and a plate at a gentle lean, and the grip feet stop the strip creeping.

Preview of Push Moderne
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Protect door paint where hands push
A streamline finger plate for an interior door. Screw it above or below the handle and the stepped plate takes the hand marks, scuffs and rings that would otherwise wear through the paint, the way brass plates did in Victorian and Art Moderne hallways, in any colour you print.
