Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Glow on a shelf while propping up a row
A bookend that glows. It stands at the end of a row like a closed hardback: the books lean on its plain side, the wave cut-outs on its cover side light up from an LED puck inside, and the spine carries an engraved title. Coins in the bottom add weight.

Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Hide an LED strip and wash the ceiling with light
Architectural cove lighting from a cheap LED strip. Stick the rail along the top front edge of a wardrobe or shelf: the front upstand hides the strip, which sits on a 45 degree seat facing the wall, so the ceiling washes with soft indirect light. Print as many 150 mm lengths as you need.

By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Hold a paper tube lantern round an LED puck
A base that turns a sheet of paper into a lantern. Roll an A4 sheet of tracing paper, pierced or drawn on, into a tube and stand it in the narrow ring groove; an LED puck sits in the middle and lights the paper from inside, so every new sheet is a new lantern.

Preview of Jar Jacket
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Turn a reused glass jar into a watertight vase
A fluted sleeve that makes an empty jam jar into a vase. The glass jar inside holds the water, so the print never leaks, and the scalloped outside hides the label marks; wash the jar, keep the jacket.

By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Display a kokedama moss ball and catch its drips
A pedestal for a Japanese moss ball. The ball sits on six low ribs in the dish, so its base stays out of the drip water and air reaches underneath, while the tall pedestal shows it off like a sculpture.

Preview of Strut Line Rail
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Mount a sliding modular wall system
The backbone of a modular wall system, after the steel strut channel used in plant rooms. Screw the C-channel to the wall and slide Strut Line hooks, corbels and other members in from either end: each one rides on its T-head and can be moved along the rail in seconds, so the wall rearranges without new holes.

Preview of Strut Line Hook
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Hang coats, bags or tools on the Strut Line rail
A hook for the Strut Line rail. Slide its T-head into the channel, the bearing plate rests on the rail lips and the kick pad below presses on the wall, so a coat or bag pulls it tighter instead of tipping it out; move it along the rail whenever the layout changes.

Preview of Strut Line Corbel
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Carry a shelf board on the Strut Line rail
A swan-neck shelf corbel for the Strut Line rail. Hang two on the rail and lay a board of up to 150 mm on their top pads: the curved arm carries the load down to the kick pad on the wall, and the shelf slides sideways with the corbels whenever you like.

Preview of Jib Arm
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Project a plant hanger out from the wall
A wall jib for a hanging plant. The deep U channel projects 200 mm from its back plate, which hangs on two keyholes, and a chain or macrame hanger drops from the hole at the tip, so a trailing pothos or fern hangs clear of the wall and the window frame where it gets light.

Preview of Meander Tile
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Tile a wall with a rearrangeable meander
A flat tile with two quarter circles bitten from opposite corners. Hang a field of them on single centre screws and turn each one a quarter at random: the bites meet across the joints and the wall shows a wandering path of circles and S curves, different every time you rearrange it.
