Preview of 2020 extrusion filament guide clip
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Guide filament past a printer frame
Snaps into the 6 mm slot of any 2020 aluminium frame and holds a 4 mm PTFE tube 18 mm out from the profile: filament from a top or side spool runs through the tube instead of rubbing a groove into the frame edge and dragging against the extruder.

Preview of Bed-levelling knob quarter-turn caps
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Track bed-levelling knob turns
Push a cap over each bed-levelling wheel: the four engraved marks show exactly how far you turned each corner, a quarter turn at a time, so an adjustment can be repeated, halved or undone instead of guessed, and the four corners stop chasing each other.

Preview of Conductor size and strip-length card
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Strip wires to length and check conductor size
Push a stripped conductor into the slots along the top: 8, 11, 13 and 18 mm are the strip lengths lever connectors, sockets and switches ask for. The five holes check solid conductor size, 1.5 to 10 mm squared, so the right cable goes on the right breaker.

Preview of Copper pipe square-marking collar
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Mark square cuts on copper pipe
Snap the collar onto 15 or 22 mm copper pipe, slide its flat face to your mark and run a pencil round it: the line is square to the pipe, so the cut sits fully home in compression and solder fittings instead of weeping from a slanted end.

Preview of Notched-trowel wear gauge
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Check when a notched trowel is worn out
Hold a notched trowel's teeth against the matching square notch: when a tooth no longer fills the notch, the trowel has worn and spreads too little adhesive under each tile, the usual cause of hollow-sounding and cracking tiles.

Preview of Ribbed lightweight plasterer's hawk
By Krypto
Complexity
Advanced
MAIN PURPOSE: Carry plaster or mortar on a light hawk
A 250 mm hawk printed face down: the flat face carries the plaster, a grid of ribs underneath keeps it stiff and light, and the 40 mm handle stands on the centre cross. Easy to wash, and it never warps after a soaking the way plywood hawks do.

Preview of Survey pole bull's-eye level clip
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Hold a survey pole plumb
Snaps onto a 25 mm detail or ranging pole and carries a 25 mm bull's-eye vial in its cup: centre the bubble and the pole is plumb over the point, so stakeout and level readings stop drifting by centimetres at the top of a tall pole.

Preview of Spark plug thread starter
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Start spark plugs without cross-threading
Push the soft tube onto the top of a spark plug and use it to lower the plug down a deep plug well and start it by hand: if the thread begins to cross, the tube slips instead of forcing it, so you never strip the thread in an aluminium cylinder head.

Preview of Upholstery tucking tool
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Tuck fabric into furniture frames
A flat, tapering blade on a round handle for pushing fabric, leather and wadding into the gap between seat and frame, with a notch in the tip for guiding piping cord: firm enough to push, smooth enough not to snag or scratch show wood.

Preview of Four-radius fingerboard gauge
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Match string height to the fingerboard radius
Each side of the square is a concave arc: 7.25, 9.5, 12 and 16 inch radius. Sit it on the fingerboard to identify the radius, then under the strings to set the saddle heights to the same curve, so every string has the same action.
