MAIN PURPOSE: Fit custom dividers in any drawer
Stick a pair of clips facing each other on opposite drawer sides and drop in a strip of 3 mm hardboard, plywood or an old chopping mat: dividers exactly where you want them in any drawer width, and moved in seconds.

MAIN PURPOSE: Hide valuables under a false drawer floor
Drops into a drawer and hides a shallow compartment: slide a sheet of 3 mm hardboard, cut to size, along the grooves in the side walls and over the lowered front wall, put the socks back on top, and passports or cash lie unseen underneath.

MAIN PURPOSE: Hang suspension files in an ordinary drawer
Turns a deep drawer into a filing drawer: hook a clip over each corner of the drawer sides (up to 19 mm thick), lay a 10 mm dowel in the cradles along each side, and standard suspension files hang from the dowels.

MAIN PURPOSE: Stop a drawer from falling out
Screw it loosely to the back of a drawer, standing up: it catches the cabinet's top rail, so the drawer cannot be pulled right out and spill onto the floor. Turn it flat and the drawer comes out for cleaning. Ideal for old drawers without runners.

MAIN PURPOSE: Use the dummy panel in front of a sink
Screw it to the back of the dummy panel in front of a kitchen sink, add a pair of tip-out hinges, and the dead strip becomes a slim tray for sponges, scourers and a brush. The lower inner wall makes them easy to grab as the panel tilts.

MAIN PURPOSE: Root a new plant on the parent branch
Strip a ring of bark from a branch, slide two pods round it through their slots, tape them rim to rim and pack them with damp sphagnum moss: in six to ten weeks roots fill the pod and you cut off a new plant that is already rooted. Works for figs, citrus, rubber plants and roses.

Peg each new plantlet on a strawberry runner onto a small pot of compost with a U-pin, so it roots while the mother plant still feeds it; after three weeks snip the runner and you have a free plant for next year's bed.

Push the spike into the soil and snap 4 mm micro drip tube into the C clip at the top: each dripper stays pointed at the root zone of its plant instead of wandering, so the irrigation water goes exactly where it is needed.

Snaps onto a round balcony handrail up to 43 mm and holds a 12 mm cane upright beside it: two clamps per cane turn a rented balcony into a trellis for tomatoes, beans or sweet peas, with no drilling and no wire round the railing.

Push one in at each corner of a bed: the hose slides round the curved head as you pull it along, instead of dragging across the bed and flattening the plants, and the upturned crescent tips stop it riding over the top.
