Preview of Peek-window dice cup for bluffing games
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Hide your dice from everyone but yourself
Shake, slam the cup down and keep it there: a narrow slit near the rim faces you, so you can read your own dice at table level while nobody else can, which is the whole of Liar's Dice and Perudo without cupped hands and accidental reveals. Print it as shown, then turn it over so the floor becomes the top.

Preview of Spinning-top battle arena
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Keep battling tops in a curved arena
A 220 mm round arena whose floor sweeps up into the wall in a 20 mm curve: battling tops are steered back towards the centre instead of bouncing off a square edge, so matches last longer and end by a knock-out rather than a top flying off the table. The engraved star marks the launch point.

Preview of Rigid blind-draw pot for bag-building games
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Draw game tokens blindly from a rigid pot
Replaces the cloth bag in bag-building and push-your-luck games: the 120 mm pot stands upright, the pill-shaped opening in the friction lid takes a hand but hides the contents, and tokens never pile up in a fold of fabric, so every draw is genuinely random.

Preview of Bead-and-loop rope puzzle
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Solve a cord and bead disentanglement puzzle
The classic patience puzzle: thread a cord through the three holes with a large bead on each end so both beads hang on opposite loops, then work out how to bring them together without untying anything. The holes are smaller than the beads, so the only way is to understand the topology.

Preview of Hidden coin maze gift box
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Turn a coin gift into a tilt puzzle
A sealed flat box with a serpentine maze inside: push a coin or rolled banknote in through the side slot and the recipient has to tilt it out again by feel and sound alone, with no window to cheat. It turns a gift of money into a five-minute puzzle.

Preview of Steady-hand buzz-wire game base
By Krypto
Complexity
Multi-part assembly
MAIN PURPOSE: Build a steady-hand electric skill game
The fairground skill game in a 220 mm base: bend a coat-hanger wire into a wiggle and push its ends into the two sockets, wire a buzzer, LED and two AA cells inside, and the loop on the wand closes the circuit the moment a hand wobbles. The telescoping cover underneath holds the batteries. Print it as shown, then turn it over so the floor becomes the top.

Preview of Shoe-lacing trainer board
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Teach children to lace and tie shoes
A flat shoe with six eyelets in two rows: children practise criss-cross lacing and the bunny-ears bow on the table, with both hands free and the laces facing them, instead of bending over a real shoe on a moving foot. Use a bright two-colour lace so left and right are easy to follow.

Preview of Boba-straw construction cube hubs
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Build large frames from drinking straws
Closed 32 mm cubes with a 12.5 mm socket on all six faces: push in 12 mm bubble-tea straws, cut to any length, and build frames, towers and domes that are light, cheap and big enough to sit inside. Straws snip with scissors, so children design their own lengths.

Preview of Cup-and-ball catch game
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Practise hand-eye coordination with a catch game
The old bilboquet: swing a ball on a cord up into the 59 mm cup. The cord runs up the hollow handle and out through the cup floor, so the knot sits safely inside the handle end and nothing snags on a swing. A table-tennis ball keeps it gentle indoors.

Preview of Tap-powered paddle wheel
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Explore water power under a running tap
Eight paddles round a hub: push a chopstick through the centre, hold both ends under a running tap or a jug and the wheel spins, faster as the stream grows. Children discover cause and effect, then lift it higher or lower to see how the drop changes the speed.
