An allotment for the windowsill. Four raised beds hold seed-starting compost, each with its own drainage, and a garden shed with a lift-off roof and a real door stores plant labels and the dibber. Start four crops at once and the plot front shows the plot number.

MAIN PURPOSE: Root a new plant on the parent branch
Strip a ring of bark from a branch, slide two pods round it through their slots, tape them rim to rim and pack them with damp sphagnum moss: in six to ten weeks roots fill the pod and you cut off a new plant that is already rooted. Works for figs, citrus, rubber plants and roses.
