Preview of Bottle neck carry loop
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Clip any drinks bottle to a bag
Unscrew the cap, drop the ring over the threads onto the neck collar of any 28 mm bottle and screw the cap back: the tab takes a carabiner, so a plain shop bottle clips to a bag or a belt loop.

Preview of Belt hole spacing template
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Punch evenly spaced holes in a belt
Lay a 35 mm belt between the two rails and mark through the holes with an awl: new holes come out on the centre line at the standard 25 mm pitch, so a punched belt looks factory-made instead of wandering.

Preview of Watch bracelet link removal block
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Shorten a metal watch bracelet at home
Stand the metal bracelet on edge in one of the two channels with a link pin over the slot and tap the pin out with a punch: the block holds the bracelet square and the pin drops through the floor slot instead of disappearing.

Preview of Ridged makeup brush scrubbing bowl
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Deep-clean makeup brushes on a ridged floor
Swirl a soapy brush over the wave ridges on the floor and they work cleanser deep into the bristles; the fillet corners rinse clean and the rounded rim is kind to bristles as you squeeze them out.

Preview of Two-handled spool rewinding crank
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Rewind filament evenly onto another spool
Push the 52 mm hub into an empty spool, wrap a turn of tape round it if the bore is loose, and wind filament from a tangled, cardboard or refill spool with both hands on the grips: an even, steady wind with no crossed turns, which is what causes tangles and failed prints halfway through.

Preview of TPU dry-box filament grommet
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Feed filament out of a sealed dry box
Drill a 14 mm hole in a dry box or a cereal container lid and push the spigot through: the 4.2 mm bore grips a 4 mm PTFE tube airtight, so filament feeds straight from the dry spool to the printer without letting damp air back in.

Preview of Resin strainer funnel for bottle return
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Filter resin back into its bottle
Sits in the mouth of a resin bottle and holds a disposable paint strainer cone in its 120 mm bowl: pour the vat back after a print and cured flakes stay in the strainer instead of ruining the next print. The narrow spigot leaves room for air to escape, so the bottle never glugs.

Preview of Conductor size and strip-length card
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Strip wires to length and check conductor size
Push a stripped conductor into the slots along the top: 8, 11, 13 and 18 mm are the strip lengths lever connectors, sockets and switches ask for. The five holes check solid conductor size, 1.5 to 10 mm squared, so the right cable goes on the right breaker.

Preview of Notched-trowel wear gauge
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Check when a notched trowel is worn out
Hold a notched trowel's teeth against the matching square notch: when a tooth no longer fills the notch, the trowel has worn and spreads too little adhesive under each tile, the usual cause of hollow-sounding and cracking tiles.

Preview of Spark plug thread starter
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Start spark plugs without cross-threading
Push the soft tube onto the top of a spark plug and use it to lower the plug down a deep plug well and start it by hand: if the thread begins to cross, the tube slips instead of forcing it, so you never strip the thread in an aluminium cylinder head.
