MAIN PURPOSE: Detect twist in a board before planing
Set one stick across each end of a board and sight across their top edges: if the edges are not parallel, the board is in wind, and you can see exactly which corners to plane down. Print one stick in a light colour and one in a dark colour so the edges stand out against each other.

MAIN PURPOSE: Clamp work to the bench in a quarter turn
Bolt the cam to the bench through its off-centre hole with an M8 bolt, set the work against a stop and swing the lever: the cam's growing radius wedges the piece tight in a quarter turn, and a flick back releases it. Two cams and a batten make a quick planing or routing fixture.
