Eccentric cam bench clamp

Clamp work to the bench in a quarter turn

Bolt the cam to the bench through its off-centre hole with an M8 bolt, set the work against a stop and swing the lever: the cam's growing radius wedges the piece tight in a quarter turn, and a flick back releases it. Two cams and a batten make a quick planing or routing fixture.
