Preview of Flat-freeze bag former
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Freeze soup in flat, stackable bricks
Lay a filled one-litre freezer bag of soup or stock in the tray and freeze it: it sets as a flat 20 mm brick that thaws quickly and files upright in the freezer. The open floor lets the cold through and the end notches let you lift the brick out.

Preview of Espresso puck leveller with depth flange
By Krypto
Complexity
Advanced
MAIN PURPOSE: Level espresso grounds before tamping
Rest the flange on the rim of a 58 mm basket and turn the leveller a few times: the flat face sits 4 mm below the rim and sweeps the grounds into an even, level bed before tamping, which stops channelling. Print the body 1 mm taller for smaller doses.

Preview of Loose-leaf tea portion scoop
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Measure loose-leaf tea by the cup
Three wells sized for one, two and four cups (5, 10 and 20 ml): dip, level with a finger and tip into the pot, so loose-leaf tea comes out the same strength every time without a set of spoons.

Preview of Tea bag squeeze tongs
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Lift and squeeze a hot tea bag cleanly
Lift the tea bag out of the mug with the paddles, give it a squeeze over the cup and drop it in the bin: the U spring opens the tongs again on its own, so no burnt fingers and no spoon dripping on the worktop.

Preview of Inverted AeroPress safety cradle
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium
MAIN PURPOSE: Keep an inverted AeroPress from tipping
Stand an inverted AeroPress with its plunger end in the 66 mm cup while the coffee steeps: the cradle stops the tall, top-heavy press from tipping over and the dish catches any drips, which makes the inverted method safe on a crowded worktop.

Preview of Cake torting knife guides
By Krypto
Complexity
Medium (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Cut cake layers level and even
Stand a guide on each side of the cake, push a long bread knife through the matching slots (20, 35 or 50 mm up) and turn the cake against the blade: the layers come out perfectly level and even, ready to fill. Print two.

Preview of Bread lame with blade tongue
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Score bread dough before baking
Thread a double-edged razor blade onto the 3.2 mm tongue: the blade bows into a gentle curve that cuts a clean ear into the loaf when you score it at a shallow angle. The long handle keeps your knuckles off the dough.

Preview of Slice-and-bake cookie log former
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple
MAIN PURPOSE: Shape cookie dough into an even log
Line the round-bottomed trough with cling film, press in the cookie dough and chill it: the log comes out evenly round along its whole length, so every slice bakes into a cookie of the same size. The open ends let the log slide straight out.

Preview of Two-size tart tamper
By Krypto
Complexity
Advanced
MAIN PURPOSE: Press pastry into tartlet tins evenly
Drop a ball of pastry into a tin and press it in with the matching end: the 56 mm end lines muffin and tartlet tins, the 40 mm end mini muffin tins, with even walls and no thumb prints. Dust the ends with flour first.

Preview of Drawer-front peelings bag hook
By Krypto
Complexity
Simple (set)
MAIN PURPOSE: Hang a scraps bag under the chopping board
Hang a pair over the front of an open kitchen drawer and hook a carrier bag or caddy liner by its handles: peelings and trimmings go straight off the board edge into the bag, and the bag goes to the compost when you close the drawer. Print two.
