Wardcase

Frame a moss garden in a miniature glasshouse

A tabletop Wardian case, the Victorian glasshouse that invented the terrarium. Its four walls are a lattice of square panes; press thin acetate inside and it becomes a closed moss garden, or leave it open as a frame round a succulent. A plinth foot lifts it off the table.
