Cribwork

Stack notched bars into a log-cabin pot cover

One log of a log-cabin crib. Every bar has half-depth notches top and bottom near both ends, so bars laid crosswise interlock course by course like a cabin corner. Stack sixteen into a cachepot round a nursery pot, a lantern round an LED candle or a crib for pens, as tall as you like.
