Pilaster Chase

Hide a wall cable behind a fluted pilaster

A cable cover disguised as a fluted classical pilaster. The TV or lamp cable runs down the wall inside the open back, the fluted face hides it, and the pieces stack end to end to any height, so a cable drop becomes a piece of period joinery you can paint to match the wall.
