Corn cob stripping bowl

Cut kernels off a corn cob without the mess

Stand the cob on the 28 mm hub and run a knife down it: the hub holds the cob upright and steady, the four spokes brace it and split the bowl into quarters, and the kernels land in the 170 mm bowl instead of across the worktop. The same hub steadies a cob for buttering.
