Stack-or-spread peg pods

One set of pods for deep and shallow drawers

Three square pods that lock together on pegs. In a deep drawer stack them into a three-level tower that uses the height you normally waste; in a shallow drawer lay them side by side. The bottom pod has four cells, the middle one two and the top one is open, so small things live low and bulky things high, and lifting off a pod shows the one underneath.

How to print it

Print the three pods separately. The pegs under each pod sit in the pod below; laid flat they act as feet.

Prints as shown on its floor, no supports. Stacked parts are fused into one print.

Filament: at most about 278 g of PLA printed solid (roughly $5.56 at $20 per kg); normal infill uses less.

To get the files, open it in the generator and choose File › Download STL (one file per part) or Download 3MF (a 3MF per part, plus a Bambu Studio / Orca Slicer project with every part on its own plate).
