Shukhov Base

Build a hyperboloid crock from straight skewers

The foot of a hyperboloid utensil crock. Stand bamboo skewers in every tooth gap round the rim and hold them with a rubber band, slip the Shukhov Collar over the top and twist it: the straight skewers lean into a waisted hyperboloid tower, the structure Shukhov used for his radio masts.
