Meshing gear-train desk caddy

Sort desk tools into three gear-shaped pots whose teeth really mesh

Three proper spur gears, each with ten teeth, stand in a row with their teeth genuinely meshed, as if they were about to turn each other. The tall one holds pens, the middle one scissors and rulers, and the short one clips and erasers. It looks like a piece of a giant clock on the desk, and it makes a great gift for an engineer.
