A needle case shaped like a diatom. Diatoms live in glass boxes of two halves, one sliding over the other like a pill box; this lanceolate case does the same with a snug telescoping lid, and a central nodule divides sewing needles from pins.

How to print it

Print body and lid flat. Optional 10 mm magnet glued under the floor.

Prints as shown on its outline, no supports. The lid prints as a separate part, top down.

Filament: at most about 20.2 g of PLA printed solid (roughly $0.40 at $20 per kg); normal infill uses less.
