Paper-marbling comb

Comb floating paint into marbled paper patterns

Twenty-six tines at 10 mm spacing on a 260 mm bar: drag it through paints floating on size and the stones break into the even nonpareil and wave patterns of traditional marbled endpapers. Pins pushed into a strip of wood bend and snag; printed tines stay straight and wash clean.
