Light up an engraved acrylic sign

Engrave or scratch a design on a 120 mm sheet of 3 mm clear acrylic and stand it in the slot: a USB LED strip inside the base shines up into its edge, and every scratch glows as if drawn in light. The cable leaves through the back.
