Make a pH rainbow with red-cabbage juice in eight labelled wells

Red-cabbage juice is a natural pH indicator. Put it in each of the eight wells, add lemon, vinegar, cola, water, milk, bicarbonate, soap and antacid as labelled, and the plate turns into a rainbow from pink acid to green alkali. It is the most colourful chemistry lesson a kitchen can give.
