Bowerbird forced-perspective display court

Display a collection in rows that deepen front to back so every piece looks the same size

Male great bowerbirds lay out pebbles, bones and shells in front of their bower sorted by size: small ones near the entrance, large ones further away. From where the female stands, the court looks evenly paved and the male looks bigger than he is. It is the only known forced-perspective illusion made by an animal. This display court copies the trick: five rows that grow deeper towards the back. Sort sea glass, shells, minerals or dice by size, smallest at the front, and from the front edge the whole collection seems to be one even size.
