Spin-dial dog treat puzzle

Hide treats in eight bays under a dial the dog noses round to find them

A brain game for dogs. Drop a treat into each of the eight bays and put the dial on top: it has a single window, so only one bay is open at a time. The dog has to work out that nudging the dial round with nose or paw reveals the next treat. Ten minutes of sniffing and thinking tires a dog out more than a long walk. Leave some bays empty to make it harder.
