A 20-bead rekenrek, the Dutch counting rack that teaches number sense in fives and tens: two rods run the length of a 260 mm tray, ten beads on each, five red and five white. Children slide groups across to see 7 as 5 and 2 at a glance. Uses 4 mm rods or bamboo skewers.
