Filament splice jig

Join two filament ends into one strand

Thread 60 mm of 4 mm PTFE tube through the holes in the two end walls, push a filament end in from each side until they meet over the open middle, then warm that spot with a heat gun and push gently: the tube keeps the ends concentric, so the joint stays 1.75 mm and feeds through the extruder. Spool ends become usable.
